Congrats on the new boat. I just bought a new Tracker Pro Team 175 with the 50. I love the boat so far. I was going to go with the 190, but went with the 175 and the side imaging sonar and 56# minn kota instead. I like the gas mileage of the 50, and wanted the sonar upgrade, so the price was better for my budget. I installed the upgrades myself, and while doing so, I realized that I am really impressed with how the boats are put together. You can work with them really easy, and everything is easy to remove and work with. It rides really well, and my sons 9 and 7 are so excited. I mainly fish for bass, but I am trying to learn to crappie fish for the boys sake. We have had it out about five times now, and I cannot figure out how to get them on any fish. But it is still a blast spening time with them.

Hope you like your boat as much as we do ours.

welcome to the forum....

Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Well Thanks everyone, but I was welcomed to the group several months ago. But I hadn't posted, because I am also busy trying to get a couple of horses to Lone Star.

But I went out yesterday on Bridgeport Lake and only caught a couple of little ones up in Big Creek. The weather has them so messed up. I figure by the middle of the week, it should be better.

I also had SI put on the boat. That thing is really nice. It is nice to see the places you fish. I took #3 son out with me, we used to have a Mod V jon boat with a 18hp, and boy what a step up.

Congrats on the new boat. You have the right idea about Big Creek. I haven't had a chance to go lately, but two weeks ago , the crappie were holding right on the rocks on the sunny side (north) bank in about 8-10 feet of water. They should be good to go by now.

I pushed the throttle the second time out and reached 43mph with it. But Iam still breaking it in.

So I guess thats quick enough, I had thought about a 115 but didn't.
