Does anyone know how the sand bass are running at Lake Weatherford and if they are, where is a good spot? I just moved out there and its a close lake to go throw my line out for a few after work.

Still a little early. Give it another 3-4 weeks and it will be on.

used to catch them along the dam, off the rocks about 100 yards. at one point there was walleye in that lake too... pretty neat lake. also used to catcha few whites at the power plant discharge.

there is a little bit of everything in that lake. the creek that runs by the marina used to really produce a lot of fish including that small bridge.ronnie is right about the walleye, I used to have a boat slip there and once in a while we would land a walleye on a drop line. enjoy the lake
