Bardwell is a great lake. When we get lots of rain like this you get the whole lake to fish. Most of the time, however, the creeks are far too shallow to get up inside of with a boat. The marina is always a pretty good option for crappie, like WRJ said, mostly in the winter. They have a website, but I do not know the exact address. It's a big sandie and hybrid lake, by reputation, but there are lots of crappie and LMB too. Give it try, you'll at least enjoy the lack of crowds at the ramp and on the water.

Home Town lake growing up, great for crappie if you know where to go. here is a hint its a real small lake the creeks are where its at and i can honestly tell you they are up in there. There are two creeks that are ok for a boat now you will have to find them and thats a no brainer. picked up 43 weekend before last and i tell ya you better be ready. good luck

HEY CORNMEAL,
HOW DEEP WERE YOU CATCHING THEM IN THE CREEKS?
I told my boss I wouldn't be in today, I got my arm in a cast!!! ========================================================= I have spent most of my life fishing. . . the rest I've just wasted.
