Well its about time that the crappie come up shallow pretty good. I was about to decide that I lost my touch. I had the pleasure to fish with Gary today on an evening trip. We had a great day with a limit of 25 nice crappie. The top 7 fish weighed 11.9 pounds total with two 2 pounders. This was the first trip out that we caught some females. The best fishing is yet to come. All the fish came out of 2' or less of water on red/char & bubblegum/white tube jigs. The water temp reached 63 today. the water clarity was stained with about 3 to 6 inches visibility. Cliff Gary with his evening catch 3-25-08.  Gary with his two 2 pounders.

Great news Cliff!! Good to see that Spindle Guide service board with a mess of slabs hanging off it! The boss (Marcia) and I are sure looking forward to Sunday afternoon with you. The timing sounds about perfect. Ready to learn about spring time crappie fishing. I am pumped.
