lol, thanks Justin. I can tell you really mean it :whistle: nothing special, but another buttefly koi  . Actually it is the same koi Nordberg caught back in January. I didn't weight it but close to 10#. That makes 3 koi in 3 months and 2 butterfly koi in less than a week.

Where do these koi come from? Released, flushed from ponds? this is a community pond where it seems someone released a bunch of koi and they have crossed with the commons and hopefully the mirrors as well.

You better get down there soon before they are all gone and eaten. A few joggers said some guys caught and kept a huge goldfish bigger than the koi I just caught. I need a mirror butterfly now

Where do these koi come from? Released, flushed from ponds? As scottevil said, People offen release pet koi in community ponds, due to them buying the koi, and it gets to big for there tank, so they just release it to the pond. Then carp fishermen come along, and catch them. GG
