Spent 6 hours on Lake Lewisville yesterday and did not get a bite, saw a few people catching really small fish on live shad but nothing to write home about, talked to a guy at the ramp, same thing, not even a bite. It better start changing soon or we will all be following Varner's boat on Ray Hubbard.

My buddy and I have been skunked two times in a row. Lots of fish on the Fish Finder but no bites.

I don't fish Lewisville for hybrids and sandies much but the other day I had 5 or 6 hybrids on a white spinnerbait in flooded bushes and grass about 2' deep. The biggest one went 9lb 10oz the smallest was about 5lbs. Just lucked up on them but wow Hybrids in flooded stuff! Moral of story try fishing shallower...

I second the fishing shallow, before the flood last week we were catching 20-30 per day from 1-6 ft in flooded brush

Did any of you get pictures of the hybrids you caught in the floodeed trees. I would like to know the general area you were fishing! West, East bank, Coves to the Northeast or to the West.
20 to 30 a day is awesome. I would pay to have you take me on a trip like that. Can you do it again?
I like the white spinner bait and 9 lb 10 oz is a great fish did you take a picture?

No! I didn't have a camera so I threw it back then my client told me he had a camera phone and I was bent.. Oh well I have a witness and a memory. I don't know if they are still there but those fish came from the golf course area by the dam late in the evening right before dark. If you get on them good I will only charge you half price since I will not be there...LOL..
