what are some cheaper good setups that are good for crappie fishing??? or is there any need for a different reel for crappie??

no need for different reels...
I'd think any spinning reel that holds about 80 yds of 6 lb test should be fine.
The wally marshall stuff at bass pro looks like a decent place to start. Seems like quality stuff that's priced decent.

cool aight ...yeah i was jsut trying to throw un weighted jigs for a little bit with my pflueger trion and it didnt cast to well

mid price best reel is pfleuger president. Best low priced reel is Mitchell avocet 500. I have a shimano sedona that is ok but same price ar president and not as smooth.
