Vanish is pretty bad.
Anyone remember Stren Super Tough when it first came out?
You couldn't land a bluegill on 17lb line.
Lame duck for sure.

1st time I bought Stren, about 20 years ago, it sucked. Haven't used Stren products since.

stren does suck, I don't have a problem with vanish...what's yours?
i still think the best way is fried.

Remington worst ever. Silver Thread copolymer almost as bad as Remington.
Surprised no one mentioned Spiderwire both the mono and braid. Have never used it but others have told me to avoid it.
As for me and my house we'll serve the Lord.

Vanish and Crystal Fire Line, some people like that trash but it never would cast or wind straight for me.

Iron silk is the worst I ever tried. I have used stren forever and now suffix and never break off.
