We had a couple of boxes of plastics and a save phase mask stolen out of my boat this past Tuesday at Lake Fork Resort......I had the loc-r-bar on and the rods in the hotel room so I'm sure it helped!!! But there were several other boats that werent so lucky!! Had a buddy get 7 rods stolen out his LOCKED box!!!! They pried it up and bent the lock!! U got to love it! realmad

Oh my that is horrible. Those/that person needs a butt whoopin in my opinion. What about hanging out there with a few chosen folks and waiting for the culprit? Maybe it will make them think twice. Gear costs too much for scum to grab it thinking they are "entitled". Sorry man.

sounds like they need a .45 round placed in the knee area...don't really want to kill them, but they won't be able to grab stuff and run anymore grin

Unload and put the stuff in your room. That is the only safe place. Don't leave anything out there you don't want to lose. I just can't sleep with my stuff in the boat. I have changed the say I carry my tackle as to make it easier to unload.

I know criminal mictheff at night is a shootable offence, but not sure where that falls if you are in a hotel, and your boat is in the parking lot. But if I was on the Grand Jury or Jury.... I sure as hell would no bill ya!

i generally catch & release, but if i caught a thief in my boat....well, lets just say release would come eventually, but he wouldn't swim well
