 Tell Tell line clogged

I noticed that no water was coming from the pee hole on my engine. The engine temp is fine and no overheating is occurring. I am assuming that my tell tell line is clogged. Has anyone had any luck blowing that line out with air or should I take the line off and clear it?

Just stick a wire or something up through the nipple. I'd hate to think of blowing some kind of foreign material up into the water jacket......
