How are they doing? Going out next week to JP or GVine and wondering where the best chances are. My girlfriend is going with me and since she doesn't fish I want to make sure she catches.

I have been at the bubbles several times here recently. I have caught some fat ones there but only a few. The water is still cool and there are no shad present. And from the sound of it you might not be able to launch a boat. I was going to go out today but changed my mind because of the wind and the lake level. Maybe by next week things will be better.

Me and a couple of my friends went out yesterday and fished the bubbles a couple of different times and got nothing. We snagged a couple of shad and that was it. Saw onereally big buffalo jump next to the boat and that was all. We only found one ramp open (rest were flooded) Scott's Landing. But it's a private ramp. When we got back they had put a sign up saying it was for members only. Oops!
