Get you an Academy H20 and you can have two reels

Bassmaster, you are right. I cleaned the bearings and re-oiled them, I used Hot Sauce instead. And the cast is so much better. And ALL my Quantums work great and have had no problems.

I see KVD rear back and throw his baits a hunnerd miles and hardly ever thumb his Quantum reel. He probably casts as many times per day/per year as anyone in the Elite bunch. I feel sure his reels are gone over by the factory to make sure they won't let him down but I don't think they are out of the ordinary Quantum reels. I can't speak for the new Quantums but the 4 I have are around 10 years old and have never failed me.
