I am just wondering. I ordered a mount back in early April. They took my deposit, and two weeks ago, I emailed them to inquire how it was going. I recall Clayton told me it would take three months max. It has now been a few days under four months and they haven't returned my email.
Don't want to jump to conclusions, I thought someone on this forum might know these fellas. They just could be busy, but no response to my email is a concern. I will call them tomorrow, but don't want to nag them either. Anyone know the situation?

You might post this in the Bass Fishing Section and see if you get a response there.

Fat Dog,
Just wanted to let you know that they are still in business but are currently about a month behind. Jason and Clayton have done several thousand dollars of work for us and it has always been worth the wait. You should try giving them a call to just follow up.

My replica took about 8 months to complete, and I am glad it did. The work those guys do is unbelieveable. Just be patient. You will be glad you used them when you get your baby back.
Character is who you are when nobody else is around.

What is their number? I have a 10.3 and a 10.4 that I want to basically make bookends out of. (Replicas, fish were photo'd and released.)
Question for someone that has seen their work. Do they airbrush gold flecks on the tip of each scale and give a good lateral line? I haven't ordered a mount yet because some of the work I have seen out there is pretty poor. I also want the replica to reasonably match the measurements of the fish. I know one man who sent in for a replica at a rather well known place and his 12 lber came back two inches shorter and about two inches shy on the girth. Looked like a nice 8.5 to 9 lb mount.

For those who have been to our shop, the two girls I have in the entry way are from Lake Fork Taxidermy. Awsome job. Many people think they are real.
For those who want to see a great fiberglass repo of a giant bass, come by and take a look.
