Are there any good bank fishing or wade fishing spots on Lake Conroe for spawning crappie?

Hey OSD - I don't know a thing about Conroe, but the Texas Lakes and Bays Atlas will have crappie hotspots, bank access spots and other info on Conroe. It's a great resource and is available at Academy and other stores.

i was looking for one this weekend at academy but i live in fort worth and most of the hot spots lakes they had were for lakes in and around dfw. I will be going to conroe for easter weekend to visit relatives which is always a kick in the crotch so i was hoping to get some fishing in. thanks.

try near the bridges. There are some holes off to the side of the 1375 bridge, the water may have overflowed into them. If the water's still low to where there's land between the main body and the hole or only 1-2 ft above it may be worth trying. my buddy said they aint moved back in there yet, so it might not be any good yet.
