RhythmDaddy - I was thinking the same thing! Great looking fish, but I'd like to see it held to the side of you to see really how proportionate it is!

I guess I understand your thoughts but the fish look bigger if you hold them out and that is every fisherman's goal. I have never seen anyone hold the fish behind them so they look smaller. I used to take pictures of fish held next to me or up against my body and then I would have to answer everyone's question..."that fish doesn't look that big"? Now, evidentally, I still have to answer questions. Oh well, to each his own. I assure you that the fish weighed the posted amounts. I personally thought the 10.5 was a 12 but the scale does not lie.

Not saying anything about "I don't believe you." Honestly, if you would have said that TP&W came to pick it up for SAL I would have believed it. Great fish! Its just funny how people hold out the fish like they are "FOOLING" somebody. Just hold the fish up against you like you would anything else. Actually helps in the long run to decipher how big (or small) the fish actually is. Here's an 8.2lb that was actually A lake record last year. Held it up, not out. You can see my arms/elbows are bent.

Compare your arms to his in the first pic...

The last pic is the only one that looks like they are holding the arms out, NOT THAT IT MATTERS, still a nice fish anyways. Congrats on a great catch. The one that R. Daddy post, looks like he has his arms bent some I am not sure what you were looking at Justin. He is holding it right on his body. Great fish as well.
