I am sure I saw this post somewhere, but I am not able to find it in my search. I have a friend that is looking for the best Mercury mechanic in Tarrant county. Any suggestions?

Marc Gunter.I used to watch him clean ing parts when his dad owned the place. Him and his dad have been in the same business since 1948.

opti is the best...works out of north texas maine 820/blue mound road. very honest mercury master tech...he learned from gunter years ago.

Hands down, Opti is the best. He fixed a problem with my 200 Opti and it has run great ever since. He often gives great advice on the web and is a heck of a nice guy.
Gunter did extra work I didn't ask him to do and tried to charge me. Make sure you are clear on what you want done with him.

I've used Opti and bought parts from Gunter. Also had Todd Adams do some work as well. I like that ol' Opti guy.

Marc Gunter is the owner of Gunter Marine it is located at jacksboro hiway and river oaks blvd. Me and my dad dealt with gunter marine for over fifty years and never a bad experience.
Just my 2 cents .
