Does anybody have a report from the flood water, creek or river channel along the HWY?? I know that it has been 3 or 4 years since the have let water go in the spring but I use to catch ice chest full in several areas on jigs in the spring when they were running water. I would catch whites, crappie and some nice black bass! Any reports???

When you say flooded areas are you talking about down by the HWY or up around the dam some where. I use to catch them inbetween the hwy and the railroad levy. WARNINNG to new timers!!! Watch where you park the cops are bad about writing tickets!!!!

I don't always catch fish, but when I do, I prefer Dos Hybrids

Someone mentioned parking problems. Exactly where is it legal to park by the river? I've driven down the bumpy dirt road all the way to the river. Is that going to get me a ticket?

Thanks,

Lots of sandies and a few hybrids being caught.
Went twice last week and only had one nice crappie,
hard to fish in that strong current...
