I have been seeing a lot of new anglers asking for help in getting started, and with the F&S and Texas Sporting (?) articles it is going to continue to increase. I am not sure they are all getting the same, consistant, information.
Now, back to Starless: Would it be a good time to revive your old "How To Get Started" post you created a few years ago. It was about the best "Getting Started" post I have ever read even though it was just something you threw together. Might be good to peg it again, IF YOU CAN FIND IT!

(I am still around but mostly just lurking. I am NOT mad at anyone or anything unless it is the house. I have been spending every free minute I've got working on the house getting it ready to sell. I haven't been fishing, carp or otherwise, since before Christmas. I haven't even been over to Tawakoni to check on the trailer or boat. For a guy that usually fishes 3 or even 4 days a week, this is serious business. I am going through some serious withdrawal, especially after reading the stories about dear old Emma but.....the end is in sight!
A couple more weeks and I'll be back in the saddle.)
