Hey there people I'm looking into getting a new boat, but with so many different ones out there I'm not to sure who to go with.
I can spend another month researching every one out there, but I figured I'd get some of the great advise you all dish out everyday. All advise is welcomed and appreciated!

Thanks,

First...
What are you going to be doing in your new toy the MAJORITY of the time? Then concentrate on that. Don't let the "what abouts" get you all tied up, no boat does it all well, the more tasks you ask it to do, the less able it'll do anything.

I'm going to be tournament fishing the majority of the time. As for the outboard I'm prettymuch sold on either Yamaha or Mercury. I don't think you can really go wrong with either of those two.

I've been real pleased with my Champion. Great dry ride in rough water, lots of storage, great build quality. I'm not sponsored by Champion but I have been very impressed with mine. cool

What size and what proce ranage are you looking for? Also are you looking new? I would say Skeeter, Champion, Basscat are good reasonably priced boats.
