I caught this 10.15 around 3 weeks ago in about 2 foot of water, the signature pic on the right is a 12.90 bass I caught on Feb 13th but I don't think that bass was spawning not really sure

(7 lbs) I have caught atleast 5 or 6 between 3-7 lbs this spring jig fishing for crappie. I dont take photos of thee bass and always let them go. I know how much time & money some of you guys spend chasing them around. Maybe i'll snap a photo of the next one over 5lbs I get. I havent purposely caught a black bass in years. They all come while crappie fishing. I even had one last year swallow an 8 inch crappie while I was reelig him in. The bass was somewhere between 6-8lbs. After going airborne a couple of times he finally spit the crappie out.

7.5 pounder, 23 inch, from Purtis Creek and it is my biggest bass ever.

Nicest bass so far was 20 inches long and heavy with eggs caught at Lake Bryan Easter Sunday. I thought it would go about 7 lbs but not so sure now seeing several pictures of 8 and better. It is the biggest bass I've caught out of Lake Bryan in over 20 years...

I pulled a 6.6 out of little 'ol Alvarado Lake and a buddy of mine pulled a 9.75 new lake record out of Pat Cleburne.

Fork on a white tube in 2 feet of water.  Also had this crankbait fish that day.
