WOW look at these huge fish we cought at Kickapoo lake out of Wichita Falls lol. My Son caught over 80 and my youngest Daughter caught over 70. Good ole Dad cought 9. Yes 9 it wasnt a type error lol. Im not a bad fisherman, I just taught my kids real good hehe. Oh and for how many I filleted, well only filleted 5. We just couldnt catch hardly any keepers. Nobody was. When we got there after lunch Friday the wind was blowing like a hurricane and it was cold and Saturday it was freezing and Sunday it started warming up. No matter we had a blast all three days. I just dont know how that huge fish fit in the net in the one pic but WOW it help up hehe. For those of you with kiddos you know what im talking about when I say it doesnt matter that we didnt get many keepers it was a heck of a good time anyway. I want to send a HUGE THANKS to Radtexan for the jigs and also TTI Companies. They worked great.

looks like the kids had a ball

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Not really normal. Had a lot of wind friday along with the melted snow runoff. Couldnt even fish the West and North side of the Fishing Barge Friday because the waves were coming over it and plus it was WAY too darned cold lol

Love me some kickapoo! Jim and the family are great!

The water up there always looks like chocolate milk. Sometimes it even clears up to the color of YoHoo!!

Hey Fish Killer it was on here several weeks ago but did you know that Jims Wife passed away? I talked to Jim this weekend and he said he had done CPR on a few people but you never want to do it on someone you love. I tell you what his Wife was one good lady. Hes a heck of a fella too

Your very right Stratos she will be missed. If anyone wants to go fishing where you feel like you have known the people there all your lives you need to go to Kickapoo Fishing Camp. Never met an unfriendly person there yet

Keep the kids hooked on fishing!

I would rather have a bad day fishing, than a good day at the office!
