I spoke with State Park Director Mike Kleinart, in regards to placing a donation box at the state park. Mike called his box to get clearance on the donation box, but his boss approved the purchase of scales directly. So they have been ordered, it will take 10 days for the scale to be produced, calibrated, certified and shipped. The scales are mobile so if you get a big fish that you would like to release one of the rangers will meet you at the dock promptly for a safe release.
