Its been a while since the Trinity produced any fish for me. Today I landed one FAT mamma over lunch. I went back at 5pm and caught 7 more by 6pm. smile All caught on white sassy shad.

What Trinity? Elm fork?

John 5:24 Very truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

1Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.

he made the killing, all i got was a 22 inch blue cat, and one 17 inch hybrid striper! He joined Buddy Lee and me at lunch and he got that FAT MAMMA! It was a healthy, bursting with eggs 13 inch female sandie!

It's not getting closer, it's here!

The Fabled Elm Fork, one truly outstanding fishery!

Mine came on chartreuse curly tail grubs on a 1/8th oz jig head.

Some of those sandies in KaLub's pic are two pound or better sandies. They don't look that big in the pic, but i got em iced down outside in my ice chest right now and trust me they's some MAGNUM SANDIES!

Wow. Sounds great guys. Trinity is only 4 miles away from me.
Elm Fork?
Can I get some cross streets or the closest intersection?

I figure to sneak up on whoever's fishing on that stretch soon. Going ot throw rooster tails, silver blue foxes and jigs of many hues. Look for the camo cowboy hat.

Many of these fish come from nowhere. They are native to the river. The rest come from Lewisville or Grapevine. Direct discharge in to EF from Lewisville, via LLELA, and from Grapevine via discharge into Denton Creek, which empties into the EF just above the Sandy Lake spillway in Carrollton/Coppell.

Nice fish Kalub.. Tell me how in the heck are you able to fish in such nice work clothes? smile I can't wear mine to my office or even go lunch without getting stuff on them. Wearing them fishing is definitely out of the question.

Aside from that, if I brought home a stringer full of fish in my work clothes, I'd probably be single....hmmmm..
