Hi,
I am a little confused. My wife was looking at the ST paper this morning and said, " hey Ken, you need to look at this article about fishing in Texas." I read the article and it talked about some of the stuff I have read here in various posts, so I thought, "they must have been reading TFF."
They described where and how to fish each of the major fresh water species including Bass, Catfish and Crappie. Then I looked at the corresponding pictures and that's where the cofusion started. All this time I thought I had been fishing for what I thought where White bass only to find out that they are really Catfish. Then I realized what I thought were Stripers were really White bass. The confusion continued. Much to my dismay, I realized that what I thought were Catfish were really Crappie and what I thought were Crappie were really Striped bass.
Thank you Star Telegram for helping me to realize the error of my ways. Anyone else who douhts what may actualy be at the end of their line acn check out the Sunday, March 2nd edition page 13c of ST and clear up the confusion.

Gotta love the media especially when they proofread their stories.

Same principal as over the years 99 percent of the commercials or examples of people fishing on TV....with a few recent exceptions, show them using spinning reels upside down.

A few weeks (or months) ago, the Startlegram published fishing information under a category called something like "channel stripers."

I too have seen that commercial and thought it was funny. Besides, I thought it was funny they we staying in the same place casting to the same spot on that dock. I guess they were waiting for the fish to come to them.
