I have noticed that most of the fisherman on here use Google Earth to map lakes. Download Microsoft Virtual Earth 3D beta. Then click the birdseye view. The sat maps were taken when the drought was at its worst. You can see the channels in the lakes and rivers. It helps when you can't afford depth finders. You can almost see the fish jumping and its FREE! Good Fishing.
