I've got the 1 inch I think, but it's turned upside down on my 06 crew.

You'd probably be good with either one. I've got 285 16s on my 06.

Well I'm towing a 20 foot lead sled Ranger and I want to be sure I get the right tongue weight on the hitch as not to bounce the arse end of the truck all over the highway.

Thanks for the input.

WOW! NICE TRUCK. RIDING IN STYLE NOW. All you need now is another 1ST Place next weekend to go with it. I would go with a 1" drop simply because it gives your trailer jack more room when lifting on and off the ball. Mine has a 2" and sometimes when I crank the jack all the way up, the jack wheel is still on the ground and hard to swing it to the up position on the trailer.

I am not an expert but I think this should work. Level the trailer and measure from the tongue to the ground. Next measure from the receiver hitch to the ground. Then subtract the two.
I had a 99 Ex-cab Silverodo and I used a 2" drop.

The 2 inch should be perfect.
