I was thinking about buying the Nav planner, but I can't find any real info on the product. Does anybody on here use it? If so does it do anything other then preplan your trips or can you download updates for your chip?

There are plenty of guys on here that use it. Skeeter Ronnie should see your post and give you the details before long. I am about to purchase it myself.

you can use th Navplanner to veiew your maps and edit waypoints/routes. for security reasons, only Navionics updates the cards. that is why they offer a rebate on the old mapping cards when you purchase a new one.
