I would imagine around any of the marinas would be good, but was wondering if anyone knew of any other spots on the lake where I could find some. I want to introduce my daughter to catching lots of fish. Thanks.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work!

I would love to know the same thing. I fished for them late last summer without much luck. I only tried the one time and may not have been in the best of spots and it may have been too late in the year for them.

I'm tempted to go there just to catch some jugline bait.

I went out there for the first time today, and one guy was tearing the perch up. He had to have taken home at least 20. A few were actually pretty good size. Fishin'aholic2, is it alwas that way? I mean, he was just tearing them up in the first tank. I was crappie fishing, but didn't catch any. A few of the guys there caught, but not a lot of numbers.

yep, every time Ive been to the Joe Pool barge, anybody using worms and bobber is either catching a ton of perch, or a few nice bass. A guy down there yesterday had a largemouth on at least 4lbs on an inch of worm and a small hook. He didnt land it, but it surfaced a few times. But its always pretty much loaded with perch (bluegill) BOB
Any day of fishin' is better than a day at work...

There's actually a bream pond within the state park if you'd like to go there. It's stocked with a ton of bream. (I like to call them bream simply because perch delineate a specific type of fish very common in the north, while bream is assumed to be sunfish, redear, or hybrids.)
