I will be out there. Anyone who wants to meet up and fish is welcome. I will provide corn, power bait bites in chart and pink, and salmon eggs to anyone who needs bait and is willing to help me learn to catch trout in small ponds. I will the big/tall white guy who looks like he doesn't know what he is doing. If you see such a gentleman, please come show him how to keep from embarssing himself in public! PM me for my cell # and I will contact you before I head out (probably arrive at the pond around 11:30-Noon).

That sounds fun man I would like a little more info on it if you dont mind.
Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

I did no good on super dupers or rooster tails. Caught them ALL on chartreuse powerbait bites. We all limited out so I will be back tomorrow around 11:30 I will be the big white guy with a purple tackle box and a blue ice chest.

There were much less people out there than I expected. I suppose it was because of the weekday stocking. There were only about 20 people out today.

sit on the dam and wear them out on super dupers or rooster tails. powerbait works good too. i have never tried corn because i always have a stock of powerbait.
LOTS of poachers at this stocking location.

I fished the other side (across from the dam) yesterday and was pulling out fish twice the size of the guys using lures. If that spot isn't hot today, I will give the dam a try!

I think I'll be out there today at about 4ish. What kind of lures can I use for trout. Do rattle traps and spoons work on them?

I learned how to fish catching perch out of this pond, are they still thick in there and averaging 4 inches?

Yeah its a small pond. You would figure that with 2000 extra trout that fishing would have been hot today. We had a good run on super duper's for about an hour around 2:30-3:30 but from 11:00 until then and from 3:30 on it was VERY slow. NOTHING on Power Bait (all colors were tried: Chart, Pink, Orange, Yellow) on the bottom or suspended under cork. I bet there were only 40 fish caught from 11:00-5:00 among everyone at the pond. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. We caught 6 keepers and threw back 4.
