On the water at 8, back on the dock at 3:45. Water temperature at 51* to start and 53* later.
Fished the south end and the spillway ridge. We couldn't get them going in any one spot, caught fish at the gap, the long ridge, the glory hole, the blue house, the drop off and Staubach.
Hybrids from Staubach, the gap, the blue house and the drop off, 1 at each spot. Caught a lot of sandies but only 4 hybrids, biggest one went a shade over 7.
It is getting better.

Painters are preventing me from setting foot in the homeplace. But within four weeks, all should be complete and it will be party time!!!!!!!!!! Just in time for those 100 hybrid days. You remember those days don't you.

hmmm reminds me of the time i was partying down and barfed on a girl's mom's corvette parked in their garage. it was dark and and i was drunk. thought i was in the bathroom.that door handle felt like a potty flusher i guess. it was convertible
word to the wise leave the lights on in the garage.

errr, not exactly the same one that you are referring to.
If you remember the time you were fishing with a boat load of BIG guys and saw me in the Caney arm it is in that area.
