pray for the kid to be found safely. his female friend swam to the shore, and he said he didnt know if was gonna make it. Just caught a little of it on the news.

Search resumes for boy missing on Eagle Mountain Lake

The search has resumed this morning for a teenage boy who disappeared Monday evening on Eagle Mountain Lake near Pelican Bay when the canoe he was in capsized in windy, rough water.
The 16-year-old Tarrant County boy was in the canoe at about 6 p.m. Monday with a teenage girl who was able to make it back to shore, a dispatcher for Blue Mound police said.
Neither teen wore a life jacket, according to reports, but the young woman swam to shore and called for help.
The search was suspended after dark Monday night, however, because high wind made conditions too dangerous, the police dispatcher said.
Capt. Scott Haney of the Texas Parks and Wildlife said Tuesday that game wardens were participating in the search.

I was thinking the same thing about the SI units. I was talking with a Cabela's employee who said that Game Wardens are starting to use the SI units to search for missing people.
Hope they find the boy soon and prayers go out to the family.
