I have caught several channels and blues running lines on the San Marcos River. There is a guy that makes it in Seguin TX, fairly cheap to.

Big tex
We had to close for the winter because we ran out of bait. The system is not supposed to be accepting orders but we have been having problems with it.
Email me your order info and I will look into it so we can get you taken care of.

Yeah I had placed an order last week (via web site), then I got a paypal notice of refund coming with the message you are closed until 3/15.
Do you still anticipate processing orders again beginning 3/15?
I finally got around to trying some of the sample soap bait I received with my jug line order from a long time ago since I couldn't locate any shad shallow -- I put out 6 jug lines on Ray Hubbard Sat eve for a couple of hours, but I think I didn't have the best location chosen. The first 5 I pulled up had no fish, but the last one (shallower, closer to shore) had a nice 6 lb 5 oz fish, it was good eatin'.

Where to you get 'hoguies' catfish soap bait? I've never heard of it and google just points back to here. Is that the correct spelling?

If anyone has a phone #, email or mailing address for Hoguies Soap Bait, please post!
There's a place in Gause that makes soap out of goat's milk that I'm going to review as soon as they send me a sample.

I have a soap bait that I use on the Guadalupe River. I have used Redneck and Hogue baits . I caught several cats on redneck but Hogue soap had no success for me. I used to have a man in Luling make soap for me but got tired of waiting so I took a recipe and found that my soap worked better than the others when fished side by side. I have pics that I can e-mailif you would like. Will also give a few samples out if interested. I live in Buda 2 miles fron Cabelas.
FISH FOR '18 ------------ channels 28 blues 2 yellas 3 gar 4 snakes 0 When i'm not fishn i'm huntn

I'd like to try your soap and I'll pay for a bar. PM me with how to send a payment.
