yeah it was one of the greatest weekends! we caught over 50 fish, including an 18 pound red! you cant beat a setting like that!

almost all were caught on fresh shrimp, a few on cut mullet

yeah it was the surf in matagorda, those I guess were called hardhead catfish, I thought they were gaftops but I guess gaftops have a really long top fin. they were fun to catch though.

Yea those are hardheads not worth a darn!!

Gaftops are blue in color and the fins are longer, you will know when you catch one, they are good eating!

How far down the beach did you venture?
