Well finally got a chance to get out before I open the new restaurant, and froze my butt off this morning. We discussed what we would do to the weather forecaster if we saw him, but that still didnt warm us up. After five long hours on the lake without a bite, and the wind starting to change we decided to head back torwards the marina area. All the sudden in the distance we saw birds, and lots of them! I cought the first fish a 5 lb hybrid soon to be followed by my Father in laws 7 lber then Christians 6.5er then Michael Todds 5er. We stayed with the birds for the next three to four hours. Ended up with about 60 Sandbass, and 8 Hybrids. Great afternoon! Hopefully I will get a chance to get back soon!
Great to see you Keith, hope you feel better, after the whipping your wife put on you today blush Sorry, you know I couldnt help it.

Oh yeah, if the officer that stopped to help with my trailer tire blowout reads this, THANK YOU! It is nice to see that some officers will lend a helping hand. I have had many trailer flats and watched officers drive right on by.

Slabs the whole time. Great times. For some reason the fish were not where we expected, they were all on the South end. Warhawk, I am working on restructuring a restaurant out here in Weatherford. I will be able to give more details next week.

Great day on the lake, fish cooperated after we finally thawed out and there's nothing better than watching a grown man (Britton's food rep Christian) hoot and holler like a 5 year old when he lands his first hybrid!!

Don't feel bad Keith. If your trip hadn't cancelled and Britton's wife Jamie was with us yesterday, it would have been her talking all that smack!! She always outfishes him!

When you say south, is that south of the 380/114 bridge.

Hey Boys!

Good to see you out there Britton and Todd! Yep, Suzanne got me 16 to 4....ouch! Anyway, She can really fish...and back a trailer (What a girl!). The fish are in that area pretty good. It is "tricky" fishing because the fish have ALOT of bait to chase!

I wasn't fortunate enough to fish, but I noticed several boats south of 380 all weekend.

We saw you all out there Sunday, thanks for giving my buddy Gary a tow back to his dock! Afterward he and I fished out of my boat (20foot blue & silver fish and ski) but did not get on them like you guys did. Actually went LMB fishing and did pretty good. Its good to hear a reely good report.

Hey Mule,

I think I saw on here once that you are up on the North End. I have heard some reports recently of some BIG Crappie being caught up there.
