Went out last monday, snagged 1 6lbs, caught 2 5lbs, 3 2lbs-3lbs, and some super small dinks trying to swallow a 5inch sassy. Decent size fish were all caught on 3/4oz. bucktails with pearl fluke trailers. Generated from 4am to 10am. Two guide air boats showed up at about 8am. "LOUD @SS BOATS"

6 fish in 6 hours sounds like a slow day to me.
I don't really know what to type here.

6 fish in 6 hours sounds like a slow day to me. At least you did better than us. They released the water about the same time we got there(12 mid night). For two hours we caught nada, then they shut down the water. saw so many dead shad. COLD, COLD, COLD.

Is it true, one must posess a Texoma fishing license to fish at Denison Dam? I heard lots of people caught good size stipers there. And I want to make a trip out there.

You can buy the OK license online now. Just pay with a CC and print.

Went up to the DAM and fish Oklahoma side from 7PM to 10PM Sunday. Between the 5 (well 4 the other person was too busy running back and forth to the truck between rain) we caught a total of 5 2lbs - 3 lbs and about 20 to 30 super small dingers. Weather was nice for fishing, wasn't cold and wasn't hot, but no action from the big one. Dead and alive shads were everywhere. Guest we will hang our surf rods up for a little while until April. By then hope for some better action.

Got to the OK side at 4am on Sunday morning. Very slow action. I only managed to catch 5 pecker fish ranging from 13-16". I threw them all back and left at 7:30am. Nothing big was pulled up from what I could see. Totally pathetic... Time to camp out on the lakeside one weekend instead of this dead dam action. All fish were caught on sassy shad.
