Just thought I'd check if anyone needs an extra person to go in on their slip share in the Austin area. I've been out of fishing for crappie for a while and looking to get back into it. Willing to put in my fair share of work for condos etc. I do not fish very heavily and when I do it is usually weekdays. Just looking for a quiet place to fish by myself and sometimes with my 15 yr old nephew when he is visiting. BTW I build a mean crappie pole so there are some perks attached. Thanks in advance!

I would think Travis/LBJ would have slips to rent. You just gotta find the marinas, then discuss it with their owners.
The hard part is just getting started and round up a group of willing renters, after that, it's just brushing the slips and gravy waiting on the fish. Good luck!

I wouldn't thimk that Travis would be a very good candidate since the water level is so dynamic...

Keep on fishing.
