Cane Pole - Thanks for the advise.
Has anyone used the fishing forecast on wheater.com? Looks to be a new service that I think I will test. Go to weather.com > Sports & Recreation > Outdoors & Fishing > [under Outdoor Recreation Features] click Fishing Forecast enter zip code et cetra.

Don't put in at 114 I did that a couple weeks and had about a mile of paddling then walking and draging it was a hard trip. I was lucky that my brother met me there in his tube and helped me carry it out.

Tried the Fish Forecast at weather.com, and sure is easy to use. I like that I do not have to figure out what time zone I am in. Just type in the ZIP and get the forecast. Only thing I wonder now, is how useful it really is?

I went to Trophy Club (Marshall Creek boat ramp) and fished from the bank near the boat ramp. I thought I would see how accurate the fish forecast was. I think I will stick to my instincts. Only 1 bite in 3 hrs using road runner, rooster tail, jig, shad. I did see some jumping out of the water near the bank today. My lures just didn't bounce them on the head.

I'll be out there tomarrow. I think it's just going to have to warm up a bit more. But anyway, I'll be out there. Good luck to anyone who goes out today.
..off to church, to pray for fish. lol

Not much going on today. Lots of boats in the creek. We put in at Meadowmere and didn't quite make it to the bank fishers coming in from 377. Caught 3 nice ones and my son broke one off. (10# test) Never saw it but fought light a nice cat. Great fight but I should have checked his drag. (he's mad at me) Most of the others in boats didn't have many in the wells either. Surface temp is 55.7 in the warmest spots. Maybe another week or two.

Talk to a old man I know. Said he was fishing for whites. He said he caught 11 nice females. Then he said he saw the bush in the water kinda shake and made the water move so he put a float and a jig tip with dead minnow parts and snagged limit of some nice crappie. Oh yea!!!!!!!!! yet he would not give up his location over the phone, he said he would show me in about 3 weeks. I have one Question is there such a thing as CRAPPIE FEVER. Cuz I cant take it any longer.
