Been reading on here about the Bullet owners tourney (and all the other tournaments) coming to the home lake on March 15th, is it for real gonna have some fast bass boats or just gonna be a gathering of 70 mph boats that claim to run over 80? FASTEST SKEETER,CHAMPION, or whatever welcome, no you dont have to run the allisons. Anyone wanna run their rig for real,check out the chat forum for the bullet owners tourney. Giving away cash to any boat that can really run the number. Let's see if any boats even Sign Up to take a shot, JUST FOR FUN BOYS! No need to get mad, just get on it. there is a difference in boats that were made to be fast and some that are built to be fast.
bullets,allisons,strokers, etc. are "built" to be fast, and YES SAFE (with the right driver)
we will have some VERY good drivers coming to this tournament. One being a surprise guest. may tell who that is later, with his permission!!
and i must say, my lil' ole 90' yr. bullet is still in awesome condition. (18yr. old boat) that still looks new! says something about quality.
p.s. i love basscats, and rangers, and skeeters, etc. they all have props!

There will be some seriously fast boats at this event but the guys that are capable of driving one at 100+ also know the water conditions have to be right to do this. I am one of them and yes my Bullet will easily exceed 100 on gps. 
We also know that mid-March on a Saturday is most likely not the best time to try to string it out and go 100. 
The primary purpose of this event is to showcase the new 21XRD Bullet and show all of you that have never ridden in a Bullet how they truly ride across boat wakes and chop. The event was not scheduled to try to scare anybody by cutting across Fork at 100 mph with boats from 27 states going every which way. 
Most of you know somebody that has a buddy that has a friend that has a Bullet but very few of you have ridden in a new 21XRD. 
Come to the event and take a ride in the new boat then decide for yourself and you will see that those of us who can drive a boat at 100+ also know when to drive a boat at 100+...

very true Kena.
Most of the time i cruise with mine at 1/2 throttle around 70 or so.
i know the difference in conditions/boat traffic etc.
knowing when i can "air" it out is important. most "fast" boat drivers do know the difference.

Just my opinion, but this is a bad idea.
As a former Dragboat Racer,(Blown Gas Hydro),
I can testify to the damage caused by flying
like a friggin' Ragdoll at 100 mph.
When you have a rescue team standing by, you
at least have a shot at survival.
If you think you need to prove your speed,
take your boat down to the Brazos where
you won't kill anyone but yourself.
Friday nights have a lot of race action.

You cant catch fish going 80 can't catch fish at 30 mph either.
