I have a canoe w/ a trolling motor and trying to decide the best spot to drop in. From what I read it seems bridge on hwy 114 is the best spot? Anyone ever paddle from Marshall Creek boat ramp up to where Denton Creek and Henrietta creek meet? Thanks ya'll.

From the boat ramp it would be a LONG paddle.......it takes quiet a bit of time in a boat...
IMHO - I would stick with putting in at 114 and paddling to 377 for pickup

not to beat a dead horse....but I saw on this thread somewhere that you can lanch from the picnic area. I have a 16 ft john boat with a tilt trailer. Can i luanch from the picnic area? I went last week and lanch at McPherson and had a long boat ride to the creek. Just trying to save gas.
I REALLY hate the redwings!!!!!

Sorry for the late reply - yes white roadrunners work great. Also try some sassy shad, small rattletraps ect.
Key to it is cast out let it sink and work it slow across the bottom when they are slow. When they are on the bite you can just reel them in fast and pick them up but slow approach works best.
