Howdy! First post here but I'm active on texas hunting forums.

I plan on heading out with my wife friday night. Should get there around 6 or so and plan on fishing all night or most of the night if the fishing is decent.

I'll be the guy that shows up with nine rods and only uses two of them.

Actually, I'm about 6'1" average build...permamnent "5 o'clock tomorrow" shadow. I have a brown Brazos jacket I wear if it's a little on the cold side.

Be prepared for some rain, personally I hope it's pouring, caught some of my best fish in the worst weather off that pier.

I think we are going to delay going fishing until Saturday morning. I hope the cool front hasn't affected the bite on the crappie.

I'm with you. If weather is short of blowing us away, I am going over the weekend. Weekend supposed to be warm, but windy.

This is the most fishing intrest for AH that I have seen in a while. The fishing has been fair at the barge. Me and a buddie should be there Friday night to practice for a small tourney we are having on Sat. night. Stop and say hi, I will be the one with a heater.

Hello all, I'm new to the board and I have a couple of question about Lake Henry. First have they improved the facilities there? Second seeing how it is a 4hr drive for me do they leave your campsites alone or are there tat small group of poeple that likes to go through your campsites?

Facilities are non existent @ henry.During the winter almost all the porta potty's are gone.The campsites are all privative, but that ok with me.Some are a little too close to the roads,but I've not had any trouble with people.

Just got in from fishing this evening at the crappie house. We fished from 6 til 10 and caught about 10 fish between the two of us. There were 16 other people fishing and there was 1 keeper caught while we were there. I know they probably started hitting right when we left, as it usually does, but I decided it would be better to wait til I heard some good fishing reports.
