Buy a rod repair kit. If it broke right at the tip or within a couple inches, you could just install a new tip eye.

If you bought it at Academy---take it back and they will give you a new rod.

Walmart will thke it back. I saw them take a Garcia reel back that had been ran over with a boat trailer. The way they stick it to their employees you shouldn't feel bad about taking it back.

Take it back to Walmart and don't think twice about it.

WalMart will take anything back. Don't feel bad about it. If you want, give it to me; I will take it back. I would keep the new rod of course.

I know you guys have heard of Rodney Carrington. He said and I quote, "I bought these dipers and they already have $!&* in them. (WalMart) Well, go get you another box."

Its that easy.

Thanks,
Lumpy

As said get a tip that fits from Academy or Barlow's. Then super glue it in. Then get some Rod Varish at Academy and put a coat on it after it dries. I put a tip back on a G Loomis that way when I had an eye mess up. Fixing to do the same to another rod.

You are not hurting or doing anything to Wal-Mart or any other retailer. You are causing the price of equipment to go up as the retailer will just send the product back to the Manufacturer.
