I've sent my prop to Steve's, and I'll say this, his work still amazes me.

We send off dozens of props a year for people. We've used all the prop shops in the metroplex at various times. While there are a couple that do good work, Steve's work is by far the best we've ever seen. This isn't the first time I've sent prop's to Steve's.

Here is what I look for in a finished blade. Not only do I expect it to be correct on pitch, but if it came in with extra cup, for that cup to be replaced. On more than one occasion, we've gotten props back from other shops that didn't have the cup on the blades as when it went in.

Buffing and grinding marks. These are big issues with me. I want a prop that looks as clean after the repair as prior to the repair.

The props I get back from Steve are correct, and true. Plus the cup and pitch are exactly like what was on the prop, if not better than prior to them getting worked.

Here are pics of my personal prop. Hopefully these pics do this prop justice.

Notice in the second pic, you can literally read the print of the piece of paper in the reflection of the prop. That is what impresses me so much about his work.

So if you want a good job on your prop, don't hesitate sending it to Steve.

BTW: The reason why I sent it in, was because on the boat I'm running at the moment, I'm turning too many RPM's, and wanted it blueprinted so I can get better speed numbers.

I haven't run this blade yet to see what numbers it will turn. But I will post the results when I get them.

It depends on the prop itself. The little extra for UPS out there was well worth it. Don't ship it overnight. I used regular ground service, and it was still there the next day without paying the extra money for next day.

I live down the road from this man (Steve) and he still amaze's even me.

I pass him every morning when I take my son to school. He waves no matter what vehicle I am in. I have only had one prop worked on and one purchased from him.

He is gently easing me over to a BULLET boat.

If you want to see his work in full extent. Come to the Bullet Boats tourney March 15th. Free 100MPH ride if you can stand it!!!! This is one aspect that he absolutley excells in.

Is it just me or is the prop cracked in the first pic?

That is why I wanted to post it. The reflection on the prop are so clear. The only way you get those images is by lots of buffing.

Thin mints! Michael save me some.

Steve, you've been quiet long enough. Hows that new motor spending the winter.
