My wife and I need suggestions for a nice cabin on a lake in Texas, North or South of Austin, for the week of June 12. I prefer one with a boat slip or dock as close as possible to the cabin. I have stayed a few times at LBJ and some other local lakes, but looking to get away to other locations. Would like a pretty lake, not a mudhole (if it was just me, the mudhole would be fine if it held fish).
If any of you guys/gals have any suggestions/recommendations/warnings, I would appreciate them.
Thanks

Buchannan. I've stayed at Thunderbird resort several times. T-Bird Prices are reasonable. You have to take your own drinking water though.

Interesting. That place looks pretty nice and Tawokoni has pretty good fishing from what I've heard. Also, try LakeHouseVacations
