Dan Hannum landed this brute after a 22 minute battle on 12 lb. test line and a Rapala Shad Rap while fishing Nevada's Lahontain Reservoir (between Carson City and Fallon Naval Air Station). The fish weighed in at 11.5 kg (25 lb. 6 oz.).  Photo compliments of the IGFA International Angler magazine

I read the article JV linked. It said the all tackle world record hybrid was caught in Greers Ferry Lake ARIZONA. Hate to tell them left coasters that lake is in Arkansas.
