I have been using a bait called Lewis Kings that I bought at the little store outside the state park at Choke and it has been working pretty well, but I keep seeing Danny Kings all over the forum and want to try it. Anyone know where in the Universal City area I can find it. Thanks for your help.

I have used both. Lewis King's is a little better then Danny's.
If you must mount the gallows, give a jest to the crowd, a coin to the hangman, and make the drop with a smile.

Yes, Try looking on the web at www.catfishgold.com and I know they have a link for Danny Kings punchbait and you should be able to find a retailer in you area from there. If that doesn't pan out contact me and I'll see to it you get some shipped to your door. I have never used the lewis kings but the Danny Kings does work especially for keeper sized channel cats. My contact info can be found at www.kingscreekadventures.com

We sell all flavors and sizes of Danny King's online if you can't find it. Plus we're cheaper than the others midwaylanding.com

I could only find the pints at Academy in San Antonio last week. No Blood, but I did find a couple of regulars.
I ordered from DK direct.

I agree with deep fried. Midwaylanding is a good source and a reputable vendor. They made a mistake on my order and corrected it with an extra gallon free.

As usual, I get all the help I need right here. I have looked at Academy in the forum area and they don't have any. I will contact some of the links you gave me and order some.

Lewis King is a very similar to the originalbait Danny King made several years ago since then Danny Kings has become more filler. We have used both with our catfish guides on Choke Canyon and our fishing ponds at Canyon Lake and Lewis KIng is the best. We carry pints, quarts, gallons and 5 gallons buckets. www.canyonlakefishing.com

Thanks fishman, I got my last one from Fisherman's Corner. On the way there, I saw a little Cajun seafood place that had boiled crawfish on their sign so I will be looking them up soon. I love the Lewis King and I talked to the old gentleman that makes it and he seemed like a cool guy.

Cajun, That place that you were refering to on 306 is called Plookey's. It's a cajun boil place that usually opens up for early dinner (3pmish or so). It was some pretty good stuff, considering the fact that I hadn't really had a "cajun boil" before. Steven

Well Steven, if you haven't had boiled mud bugs so hot that your eyes are bugging out, sweats pouring off your forehead and your nose is running like Tiny's bait tank, you got something to look forward to. But you got to suck them heads, that's where all the good stuff is. Good Fishing, Cajun
