Revo STX is a fine reel, a little whiny on the cast but smooth as glass on the retrieve and for a small reel it has a lot of power.

Curado 200D is a little less refined, just about as smooth on the retrieve, smoother on the cast but a tad less distance, but very versatile and comfortable, for me. De-grease and oil the spool bearings before you use it.

I have a few of both, and I favor the Curado, because it is simpler to tear down and clean. Both would be excellent choices. But if you want to make long casts with 20# line on the Curado 200 get a 300.

You have to buy a Fenwick or Allstar rod and a Revo to get the $50 rebate, according to AbuGarcia's website.

REVO, thought about a curado before but try them side by side the revo feels much smoother - will probably buy another revo this spring.

I just got back from Cabelas in Ft Worth and the only reel rebate offer they had was for the Shimano Curado D, the Citica, and the Cruxis. No rebates on Garcia or Diawa according to the reel counter person.

Hard to beat the new Daiwa HSTA. That might be one of the best reels out for the price.

God Bless,
