Years ago I used to do well in the middle of winter in the river channel near the Palestine Dam. Used to catch crappie and catfish. I have not been in 5 or 6 years. Anyone been or have advice.

thanks in advance,

Woodrow

Yea, I know people have been doing very well down at the dam lately.

Wish I could give you more specific advice, but I dont go to the dam. I live further north right by the lake and catch plenty close by.

Gilly, you are my hero. I never have caught "plenty" out of Lake Palestine. I haven't tried the dam area though. Glad you have been doing so good.

I wish I could help but I rarely deep end either. I have a few times but never have really gotten into them there so I go where I know I can.

Its your story, tell it how you want.
