You can buy them at wal- mart and they are very inexpensive. I pour a cup full of concrete. I make my own weights. But noodles work very well.

if you use the swim noodles you have to make them white to be legell ... some folks use white duct tape ... or you can oder the white backer rod from the folks below ... you have to put a hole thru these for the PVC but that ain't no step for a stepper

Academy wised up to us Albert. A feller told me they had went up to over a dollar. I guess they found out we were fishing with them!

BPS in Grapevine has the noodle jugs for $2.99 each. You might be able to order them from BPS online.

cut them 12" then get a piece of 1/2" PVC 15" and put it in the hole throught the middle. leave 3" sticking out of the noodle. then drill a hole in the end of the PVC that is sticking out. cut a piece of BRAIDED line 4' tie a knot about 8" up from one end. then run a 1 oz egg sinker on the end where you just tied the knot. then tie another knot on the other side of the egg sinker. (the closer you tie the knots to the weight the better) then get a 4/0 Eagle Claw Straight Shank hook and tie it to the same end. then tie the line to the PVC through the hole you drilled. a fish will pull them under but he will not hold them under.
