I need some help from you Kia experts. Brother in law has a 2003 Optima 4 cyl. Dealer told him the cam position sensor was bad; $500 plus to replace.
I haven't yet run down a website for info on where the sensor is located. Can any one tell me?
Word of warning about Kia's 100k warranty. Seems you have to replace the timing belt by 60k to keep the warranty in effect. B-I-L let the mileage run over about 4k so dealer is refusing to do the repair work under warranty even though there is no problem with the timing belt.
Thanks for any help.

Legally they cannot deny the claim unless they can prove the lack of maintenance caused the failure.
