I have a xpress center console boat and want to put some rod holders on it. it has a channel slot that runs from bow to stearn and was told they make a rod holder that will fit in it and you can adjust it anyware on the side of the boat. cant seem to find them. any info would be great.

A single bolt holds them in place CLicky you could probably fabricate a piece to fit in your slot. Might give them a call to see if they have a mount not on the web page.

I got the double ones mounted on a stainless steel plate and mounted them with two ss bolts, I drilled the holes in the gunnel. I have one double on each side in the back and in front for a total of 8.

Check out this website and give JD and the guys at Shippsmarine a call. I'm sure they can help you out.

They carry Xpress boats and can get you any parts you need.

Everett,
War Eagle boats has a t-lock system like the Xpress. They sell a very heavy duty rod holder, spider rigs and cleats that look like they would work. Also, call Butch West at West Boats(Xpress dealer). He might have some in stock. My Xpress CC does not have the T-lock, I was disappointed. I had made some for my last Xpress out of 2" pvc pipe "Y"'s. Used strap clamps with 5/16 carriage bolts to hold them. I could troll hell-pets with no slippage.

Thanks for all the info everyone. If MacGyver was still around he could fix me up in 15 or less with a swiss army knife, stick of gum and a can of coke and weild it all together with a set of jumper cables and a nickle. LOL
